Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama to poke a little fun at herself and blog about the things she might typically leave out. You may find it therapeutic to join in and do the same thing!
So please enjoy my very first Not Me! Monday! post:
Let's see...
It was not me who dropped her child off at school this morning and told him on his way out of the car "You need to start putting lotion on your legs. Didn't we discuss that already?" That could not have waited until later and the typical "Love you, Have a great day!" just wasn't good enough for today I guess.
I also did not allow my youngest child to continue pulling himself up to standing on the coffee table in the living room after falling and hitting his head several times before. I most certainly did not take pictures of the above events and think to myself that he's going to have to fall a few times in order to learn...
It couldn't have been my husband who had the same outlook while putting the said child to bed and I highly doubt it was my baby's head hitting the crib rail tonight while my husband said "I was trying to take a picture of him standing because it was so cute."
I did not have my older child come home from school today with a conduct mark.... his very first one EVER. I did not proceed to ask what on earth he was thinking and why he was "excessively talking" in class. And it wasn't my son who said "everybody in class" got a conduct mark today because they were all talking. And I am pretty sure it wasn't my kiddo who had a writing journal assignment for homework today and ended up writing about how his mother was "furious" with him this afternoon about his conduct mark.
What did you NOT do today and this past week? Feel free to tell me in the comments if you're brave enough! :)
lol-what are yall doing to that poor baby? mine hit his head for the first time today too WHILE CRAWLING!!!!! It was just on the couch-pretty coushioned bump but he still cried!
ReplyDeleteSo just how often do you update around here?
ReplyDeleteStopping by to let you know I'm still praying!
Psalms 55:16-18 As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me. Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice. He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.

ReplyDeleteIsaiah 40:11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.

Am sorry I couldn't donate this year. Know that I'll be there in spirit! It's tomorrow, right?
ReplyDeleteThis is such a wonderful promise. If Jesus wasn't who He said He was, He would have told us. But He IS and His promises are true! Praying right now!
John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

How did it go yesterday?
ReplyDeleteI always come back to these verses. It never ceases to amaze me that the Holy Ghost Himself prays for us! He's praying for you! There's no greater comfort than that!
Romans 8:26-27 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

ReplyDeleteRomans 8:33-34 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
